Moment of Truth

"Actions have reactions, don't be quick to judge.
You may not know the hardships people don't speak of.
It's best to step back and observe with couth.
For we all must meet our moment of truth."

A Story of 2 Wolves

A Man and a Snail

"It must have come out because of the rain," the man thought. Now that the rain has stopped, the snail wasn't moving, so at first glance under the dim street light, the man thought it was some defecation of an animal.

"Such hideous creatures... A sac of water and cells innervated by some primitive nerves, merely responding to external stimulus." He began to feel a cruel curiosity growing inside him. It was telling him to burn the snail's tail with the cigarette he was holding. Just as he was about to give in to his desire of resolving his curiosity, he stopped.

He walked away.

For it occurred to him that in the eyes of the divine, he was also nothing worth more than the snail, and yet, he was not harmed.

A Myth About Pets and Life After Death

"There is a story saying,
when a person dies,
the person's pet,
which arrived earlier,
comes to greet its master.
I like this story very much."

Follow the White Rabbit

...

White Rabbit looked at his watch.
No numbers, needles, or notch.

He found that he had no time,
so turned to seek the divine.

Planning to ask where time flew,
convinced that no mortal knew,

He started down the hill in haste,
thinking, "there is no time to waste!"
